The Survey provides a fascinating insight into the performance of the European industry and of many its main players. The survey model is derived from our experience in producing the UK Event Organisers Survey, which we have published since 1992.

The survey features extracts from up to 4 years of the accounts of 97 event organising companies from Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. In the benchmark year, these companies generated over € 3.1 billion of turnover and pre-tax profits of over €133 million. The highlights table enables the reader to compare the results country by country.

The benchmarked annual results of each company are compared both numerically and graphically with earlier years and with the results for the country and for the survey overall. This provides an invaluable insight into the performance of each company and of the industry overall.

The Survey includes enhanced coloured graphs and rankings. This should assist those less comfortable with number crunching in interpreting the data and makes an excellent addition for those wishing to use extracts from the data in reports. All we ask is that our copyright on the survey is respected and that we are credited where data is used.

Country graphs show the trend in turnover, gross margin and pre-tax profits for the country.
